Meghan Markle has said that the Netflix docuseries about her and Prince Harry may not be the way they "would have told it". Speaking to Variety Magazine in a new interview, the Duchess of Sussex, 41, was asked about what people should expect from the docuseries which is being directed Liz Garbus. Meghan said: "It’s nice to be able to trust someone with our story — a seasoned director whose work I’ve long admired — even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it.

Netflix has issued an unexpected statement following reports claiming their documentary following the lives of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has been postponed. During the past 12 months, the Sussexes have often been spotted with cameras following them and since the Queen's death, fans have wondered what will happen to the footage.

However, the streaming giant has faced much backlash over the upcoming season of The Crown, while it has been reported the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted to make edits to their show following the Queen’s death.

In addition to Lohan and Overstreet, the film stars Jack Wagner, George Young, Blythe Howard, Chase Ramsey and Olivia Perez. “Falling for Christmas” is directed by Janeen Damian and marks her directorial debut. The “Christmas Waltz” and “Much Ado About Christmas” writer and producer also co-wrote the screenplay with husband Michael Damian (“Hot Tamale,” “Moondance Alexander”), Jeff Bonnett (“Love by the Book”) and Ron Oliver (“Operation Christmas,” “Harvest Moon”).
