A 14-year-old boy was left injured after a suspected stabbing near a park in south Manchester.
Police officers were called to the scene of the incident in the Whalley Range area at around 7pm last night (Tuesday). The suspected stabbing happened near Manley Park.
The teenage boy suffered 'non-life threatening injuries', a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said. An investigation is now ongoing.

In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At around 7pm last night (18/09/2022) officers were called to reports of a suspected stabbing near Manley Park, Manchester. Officers attended and established that a 14 year old boy suffered non-life threatening injuries.
"Enquiries remain ongoing and information can be passed to us via the Livechat function on gmp.police.uk or 101 quoting 2826 of 18/10/2022."
