Police have arrested six people and a number of stolen vehicles were recovered in a crackdown on anti-social behaviour in Salford.
A number of tenancy warnings have also been issued by housing association Salix Homes as part of Operation Kinetic, which was launched in Kersal after disorder in September 2021. In total, three stolen cars and 18 stolen motorbikes have been recovered by police.
Also as a result of the operation, Michael Lowe, 39, of Kingsley Avenue, Kersal, has been charged with handling stolen goods and will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on April 27. Four other people at a separate address have been released under investigation after being arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, while Phan van Dien, 35, of Littleton Road, Kersal, was jailed for 18 months in December 2021 at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court after pleading guilty to cannabis cultivation.

Neighbourhood Inspector Darren Lomas, of Greater Manchester Police's Salford North East Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "Kersal suffered from widespread public order in September 2021. Operation Kinetic was launched in partnership with Salix Homes and has gone a long way to restoring community confidence.
"Several stolen and abandoned vehicles have been seized, dramatically reducing calls to the police for associated anti-social behaviour. Highly visible patrols will continue, as well as fly-overs with the drones, and is an ongoing priority for my team."
