Singapore’s MediaCorp, Taiwan’s Mission International Sign Development Agreement at ATF

Naman Ramachandran Singapore’s MediaCorp and Taiwanese production company Mission International have signed a memorandum of understanding for content development at the Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF). Mission International is led by producer Angie Chai, best known for hit teen idol drama “Meteor Garden” and forming successful boyband F4.
Mediacorp and Mission International will co-develop scripts in the fantasy-romance, coming-of-age and female empowerment genres. Once developed, the projects will attach artistic and production talents from both Singapore and Taiwan.
Virginia Lim, chief content officer, MediaCorp, said: “Joining hands with Mission International, one of the most influential companies in the Chinese entertainment industry, enables us to continue creating fresh, compelling content that resonates with audiences in Singapore and the region.
