Speaking at his latest pre-match press conference, Erik ten Hag indicated United would select a similar matchday squad to the one that earned a dramatic comeback win over Aston Villa on Tuesday night. Luke Shaw and Sofyan Amrabat were ruled out in the run-up to that game with unspecified problems.
