The Queen has many different official names she goes by from Her Majesty to Queen Elizabeth II. But, at home her family has always known her as "Lilibet" being the name she gave herself when she was younger.The Queen, 96, used to be unable to pronounce the name “Elizabeth” when she was young, so dubbed herself “Lilibet” and the name stuck ever since.

Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations over the weekend.On Thursday’s Trooping the Colour appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, lip readers Jeremy Freeman and John Cassidy were able to point out Prince William and Kate Middleton’s daughter Princess Charlotte giving her older brother Prince George some sisterly advice, the Mirror reported.The 8-year-old was dangling his arm on the balcony and Charlotte, 7, told him to keep it by his side instead for safety, they said.Around the same time on the mezzanine, the Queen, 96, was asked by her great-grandson Prince Louis: “Are the Red Arrows coming?” according to the lip readers, to which she replied: “I hope so.”The Red Arrows are planes helmed by the Royal Air Force that flew over the palace during the event.When the aircrafts appeared and tinted the sky red, white and blue, Louis stole the show by excitedly screaming, “Yes yes yes!”The Queen explained to the young lad, “There it is,” before Louis shouted: “Oh Red Arrows, whoah! Whoah, that was loud!”Kate, 40, was seen saying “Amazing” and Charlotte gushing “Wow!” During Friday’s National Service of Thanksgiving for the Queen’s reign at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry sat far away from estranged family members, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The Queen’s appearance during a Paddington Bear sketch on Saturday night came a complete “surprise” to the Royal Family, who admitted they had no idea it was due to take place. The short skit kicked off the televised BBC’s Platinum Party at the Palace, and saw the monarch playing We Will Rock You on the spoons alongside childhood favourite Paddington Bear.

When Queen Elizabeth first appeared on the palace balcony during Thursday’s Trooping the Colour, she had one companion by her side. The 96-year-old, who is celebrating 70 years on the throne, was accompanied by her first cousin Edward, the Duke of Kent, who was dressed in his military uniform.The 86-year-old later joined the other senior members of the royal family as they watched the military flypast. This was the first time the queen appeared on the balcony without husband Prince Philip.The Duke of Edinburgh died in 2021 at age 99.

Day two of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations have kicked off as Royals have started arriving for the Service of Thanksgiving. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating her 70-year reign with the four-day weekend. And while she was in attendance for the Trooping of the Colour, she will be watching the televised Service of Thanksgiving from the comfort of her Windsor Castle home due to some "discomfort" from the day before.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a playful moment during the Trooping the Colour ceremony.  The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen playfully shushing the younger royals while watching the parade during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Harry was seen holding his finger to his mouth as he bent down next to his cousin, Lena Tindall, 3.  His wife, Markle, echoed a similar gesture to the group of young girls, including Zara Tindall's children, Lena and Mia, 8, and Peter Phillips' daughter Savannah, 11.The girls playfully mimicked the Duchess’ motion back to her.  Prince Harry shushed some of his cousins during the Trooping the Colour ceremony. He did a similar gesture during the 1990 ceremony.

Kate Middleton channeled the late Princess Diana during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The celebration – which honors the Queen’s 70 years on the throne – kicked off on Thursday with the Trooping the Colour ceremony.  Middleton stunned during the ceremony in a white Alexander McQueen coat dress, paired with her late mother-in-law’s diamond and sapphire earrings. She also wore Diana’s matching necklace.  Kate Middleton wore a Princess Diana inspired look to the Trooping of Colour Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

On Thursday, high ranking members of the Royal Family joined the Queen on her Buckingham Palace balcony as they watched over the Trooping the Colour ceremony, as well as the Red Arrows display. It's possibly the most famous balcony in the world with royals having gathered on the balcony since 1851 to celebrate weddings, birthdays and to commemorate important wartime events. It was Queen Victoria who first started the tradition during the celebrations of the Great Exhibition over 170 years ago.

LONDON – Trooping the Colour, an amazing spectacle of pomp and pageantry, finally returned to London this week for the first time since 2019.  Trooping the Colour showcased more than 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians going on parade, with mega crowds gathering in the streets of London for this special Platinum Jubilee edition. And what a day it’s been.
