Christian Eriksen says he is impressed with the midfield Manchester United have assembled and can't wait to see what more they have to offer as the season goes on.
Erik ten Hag was faced with the tough task of rebuilding the United midfield in the summer window, having inherited a squad that had lost a number of key players in that area of the pitch. Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata all left as free agents at the end of last season, with United not only losing quality, but also experience in a vital area of the pitch.
In response, Ten Hag added both Eriksen and Casemiro to the squad, while he put his trust in Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay to keep their places in the team from last season.

United have found their rhythm thanks to a regular midfield selection, though they also have a host of other talented players to call upon from the bench if they need them.
Eriksen is happy with how things are going so far and says he can't wait to see what teammates Casemiro, Fred and Donny van de Beek can add to the team too.
“Everyone has different qualities and it’s up to the manager who he’s going to put down to play in which games and see what qualities will work,” he told club media.
“Take Casemiro coming in and showing how strong he is already. Being a winner. And Fred and Donny [van de Beek] have played for many years – it’s a decent midfield.”
