EXCLUSIVE: Sony’s second trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has set a viewership record, Deadline has learned, coming in not only as the highest-viewed Spider-Verse franchise trailer, but also as the most-viewed second trailer for any recent Marvel film within a 24-hour period, and the most-viewed superhero film trailer of the summer.
The new trailer has, since launching yesterday, garnered 148.6M views, besting the tallies notched by trailers for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (116.9M) and The Flash (81.6M).
Recent Marvel films coming in behind Across the Spider-Verse in terms of views for second trailers include Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (121.6M), Thor: Love and Thunder (98.1M), Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (84.8M and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (83.8M).

Suede have extended their ‘Autofiction’ tour due to “huge demand”.The band have announced several extra shows for December 2023 off the back of their sold-out tour that took place last month, during which they surprised fans in Manchester with a special setlist containing deep cuts from their debut self-titled album to celebrate its 30th anniversary.Suede will kick off the tour in Eastbourne before moving onto Lincoln, Portsmouth and Wolverhampton, and they will later sign off with two shows at London’s O2 Academy Brixton. One of the Brixton shows was postponed from March due to the venue’s closure following the incident at an Asake show in December 2022.Tickets will go on sale on Friday (April 28) at 9am.
Jurassic Park has been announced, marking 30 years since the release of Steven Spielberg’s 1993 blockbuster.‘Jurassic Park In Concert’ is due to tour the UK, with John Williams’ score performed live by a full orchestra.
