Devastated friends of a Scots woman found dead in Airdrie have paid tribute to the 'lovely person' who had an 'infectious smile'.
Stacey Warnock, 51, was discovered by police at a property on Barra Drive in the town on Tuesday morning. Officers descended onto the residential street before a 52-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the 'isolated incident'.
Stacey's devastated friends have been left heartbroken by the news and tributes have since flooded in. Loved ones have described her as a 'beautiful soul' who was 'always smiling'.
Laura McWilliams said: “I’m still in shock. Your smile was a one off, truly brightened every room you were in! I hope you’re in your wee mums arms.”
Victoria Watson said: “I will treasure our memories forever. Your daft laugh and that infectious smile. May you rest at peace our darling Stacey.”
Neil Rennie said: “Awww Stacey I will miss the banter we had together and you are still the only woman who has drunk me under the table! Fly high my friend.”
Tracy Docherty said: “A lovely person inside and out. Rest in peace.”

Residents in the quiet cul-de-sac previously told how Stacey had kept to herself in recent years after moving into the street.
They told the Record how they woke up to forensic officers outside the house on Tuesday before floral tributes were laid at the front door of the property. Candles were also placed along a wall on the driveway.
