A man has been taken to hospital after a car was found overturned in a field in Fife. Emergency services were called to the B927 near Leven at around 7.30 am on Monday, January 9, following reports that a vehicle had crashed into a field after overturning.
A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
Images shared by Fife jammer locations from the scene show a red Volkswagen lying on its side with police tape wrapped around the vehicle. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.30am on Monday, 9 January, 2023, officers were called to a report of a one vehicle crash on the B927 near Leven.
"A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital. Arrangements are being made for the vehicle to be recovered.”

A 14-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a vehicle.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 11.30am on Saturday, 28 January, 2023 officers were called to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on the A76, Mauchline, East Ayrshire. "The pedestrian, a 14-year-old female, was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Crosshouse."The 77-year-old male driver of the vehicle will be reported in connection with road traffic offences. "The road was closed while investigations were carried out and reopened around 1.30pm."
