A Scots mum has spoken of her fear after a late-night prowler was caught trying car doors outside her home.
Doorbell video cameras caught the moment the hooded figure targeted motors parked on Priesthill Street in Glasgow in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The man can be seen quietly charging towards a grey car before attempting to open the locked door. He then turns his attention to a black vehicle but thankfully has no luck getting in, Glasgow Live reports.
The incident has left a mum-of-two frightened as she explains, in her nine years of living in the cul-de-sac, she has never experienced anything like this.
She said: "My partner checked the cameras in the morning and said somebody has been at the cars. I was very shocked because we never get anything like that around here.
"It's more the fact that he was so close to the house at that time of the night, I've got little kids. You don't want to think of anybody stealing from you.
"It's horrible when you work hard for your stuff and then you have somebody who is going to take it. I am disgusted at his behaviour.
"The car is fine, he tried the handle but it was locked so he thankfully didn't get in. It's disturbing because he was so close to my house, he was right outside our front window.
"He was outside while me and my kids were sleeping which is the scary part of it. It makes you wonder what if.
"He managed to get in and if the camera wasn't there, we would never have known. Make sure to lock your doors, it's horrible you need to think that way."
The man was wearing a dark hooded jacket, blue t-shirt and dark-coloured joggers with stripes. He can also be seen wearing gloves in a desperate attempt to cover his tracks.
The incident was not reported to Police Scotland.
