A Scot has shared a hysterical photo showing what happened when she went online to buy a bedside cabinet she liked and didn't read the notes on the website. Twitter user @ChloeMckay14 was shocked when the resulting item of furniture showed up - and she discovered it was smaller than a can of Irn-Bru.
Mortified Chloe just had to share a pic on Twitter to laugh at her own expense. The hilarious pic then showed the tiny white chest of drawers with drawers featuring a love heart motif sitting under an empty can of Irn-Bru which dwarves them in size.
The set of drawers must have been made for a dolls house and are miniature.
Posting on the social media site, Chloe wrote: "Went on to google looking for bedside drawers never read the description and this is what I’ve ordered. Cannot stop laughing."
The post has since had thousands of likes and retweets, and has been shared all over social media, with people flocking to comment.
People shared similar stories, one wrote: "My son in law thought he got an absolute bargain of a jumper for my daughter. He was a bit surprised when a knitting pattern came through the post!
Another added: "Once ordered a really nice looking pair of trainers, size 13, I picked them up from the parcel office, the postie handed over a small package, they were childs size 13s."
"To be fair it seems to be doing its job," joked another. "I mean a bedside draw is simply for putting your iron bru on isn’t it. I’d be happy with that."
