A schoolboy has been rushed to hospital after he was struck by a car in Glasgow.
Emergency crews scrambled to Kirkton Avenue in Knightswood at around 3.10pm, this afternoon, Tuesday, June 11, following reports of the 11-year-old boy having been knocked down.
There is no information at this stage on the nature of the child's injuries, reports Glasgow Live.

A bystander said: "Major incident in Knightswood. The road has been closed at the top near Polnoon Avenue."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.10pm on Tuesday, 11 June 2024 police received a report of an 11-year-old male pedestrian having been struck by a vehicle in Kirkton Avenue, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and he was taken to hospital for treatment.”
