A busy road in Edinburgh has been closed following a serious crash between a car and motorbike allegedly involving 'multiple casualties'.
The incident took place at around 12.25pm on Liberton Road in the capital on Wednesday, June 12, with police reporting that "emergency services remain at the scene".
Images shared with our sister title Edinburgh Live show a damaged car and motorbike in the middle of the road.
A witness said paramedics were seen treating casualties nearby.
One witness said: "They were working on two people at the side of the road. One was a pensioner and the other a motorcycle driver. There was also a woman very shaken up, I think was driving the car.
