Scarlett Moffatt snaps back at vile trolls who criticised pic of newborn Jude

Scarlett Moffatt had to take pre-emptive measures to ward off social media trolls after sharing the latest photos of her beautiful baby boy, Jude. The new mum, 32, who recently enjoyed her first night out since giving birth, shared a carousel of images of her son from their family staycation. Captioning the images on Instagram, she penned: “I never realised how much stuff you have to bring along to any trip away with a baby… did we bring everything & the kitchen sink? Yes we did! Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY!!” The images show little Jude sweetly nestled in a cushion next to the dog; looking content in his mother’s arms in another; and leaning back on another cushion while posing in an adorable short onesie adorned with a sailboat print.
Continuing her caption, Scarlett was ready to take on any potential social media trolls who are often quick to criticise parents’ and their choices. She said: “Side note these are posed pics I don’t just let Jude chill out on cushions all day long”. The post racked up more than 80K likes, while heaps of people flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts.
Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby said: “Oooooo what a gorgeous boy scarlett”. Noting the former Gogglebox star’s caption disclaimer, one person said: It drives me mad that you have to write the part about posed pics before the k***s of the world start attacking you.
