Royal Family issue 'Happy New Year' message to nation in special social media post

The Royal Family wished people across the nation all the best for 2024 as the hours count down until the bells ring at midnight, as their official Twitter page posted a special message on New Year's Eve.
An animated picture shared by the firm showed an image of Buckingham Palace with fireworks illuminating the skies around the building to form the words 'Happy New Year' in a gorgeous digitally edited photo.
The photo was also accompanied by a caption which read: '"Wishing you a Happy New Year!'" with the royals themselves likely hoping for better things ahead in the next year after having to navigate a fairly difficult time for the family in 2023.
It was a rollercoaster of a year, with the release of Prince Harry's bombshell memoir Spare released at the start of the year which sent shockwaves through the monarchy as his tell-all book divulged private details about senior members of his family.
Arguments were reignited towards the end of the year following Omid Scobie's new book Endgame which saw the race row forced back into the public spotlight once more naming two key senior Royals behind the allegations.
However, King Charles may be in a forgiving mood as the year draws to a close, as the Duchess of York Sarah (also well-known as Fergie) attended her first Christmas Service at the Sandringham Estate for over 30 years.
