Sheriff Mungo Bovey banned Barton from driving for 16 months, fined her £1,000, and said: "I consider the narrative to be extremely aggravating of this offence."
Fiscal depute Stuart Hamilton told Perth Sheriff Court: "At 6pm, a witness was driving in Townhead, Auchterarder, when his attention was drawn to the accused's vehicle driving towards him. The vehicle driven by the accused drifted onto the wrong side of the road and approached his vehicle.
"They described the accused appearing not to react in any way. She continued towards him, reaching just two car-lengths away, before swerving back to the correct side of the carriageway.
"He had to take evasive action to prevent a head-on collision. He turned around and followed the accused a short distance as she continued to drive slowly along the road, holding back multiple vehicles.
"She was driving at an extremely slow speed, holding up multiple queueing vehicles. He caught up with her and stopped her and spoke to her.
