Residents in Radcliffe say they are fed up with the 'shocking' antisocial behaviour in the area following a brutal assault last night.
People on Stand Lane in Radcliffe, near Bury, woke up to a police cordon outside their homes this morning after a 59-year old man was assaulted on the street at around 1:20 this morning.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) say the victim was taken to hospital following the incident, but his injuries are not thought to be serious. A 22-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery.

Melissa, another mum who lives further up the road, said she heard the incident last night while she was up to feed her baby. She said she heard 'shouting' and 'screaming', before the street fell silent again.
"I just heard a voice shouting," she said. "One of them was saying 'help', and the other one was saying 'I'll smash your head in' or something like that, they were screaming and shouting. It was horrible."
She said she had lived on Stand Lane for five years, and the incident didn't surprise her. "It's always like that," she told the M.E.N. "We didn't think it was when we bought the house, but every weekend you guarantee that you'll get some sort of youth up
