It's almost 25 years since Coronation Street fans were introduced to Tyrone Dobbs for the first time. Acot Alan Halsall made his Weatherfield debut, aged 15, in November 1998 in the role of the delinquent son of Jackie Dobbs.
At sixteen, he left his mother and her difficult ways behind and trained as an apprentice mechanic under Kevin Webster and 10 years later ended up buying half the business. And throughout the years fans of the ITV soap have seen much of Tyrone's storylines focused on his relationships.
It all started with his first love Maria Sutherland, now Windass, before finding on-and-off love with Fiz Stape. But there was also the case of his doomed marriage to Molly Compton and the storyline which saw him suffer shocking domestic violence at the hands of his fiancée Kirsty Soames.

But it hasn't just been his romantic relationships that have changed and caused him bother and heartache. In 2018, following the death of his mother Jackie, Tyrone discovered that Jackie was not his biological mother and while searching for his birth parents, meets his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Plummer, who told him his mum was dead.
However, as Corrie fans have recently found out, that is not the case and Evelyn has been hiding a huge secret. And earlier this week, Tyrone finally discovered the truth. Cassie first appeared in Weatherfield after she tracked down her mum to the street but when Evelyn spotted her, she ignored her.
