Coronation Street fans think they have spotted an obvious plot hole in Abi Webster's continued recovery as she was seen helping newcomer Cassie Plummer. The mechanic was seen confronting Tyrone Dobbs' biological mum after she spotted her dipping her hand into the petty cash tin at the garage.
During Monday night's trip to the cobbles in the ITV soap, Cassie arrived at the garage for her first day at work and Tyrone thanked Kevin Webster for giving her a chance. But as Cassie swept the forecourt, drug dealer Dean Turnbull approached demanding drug money, saying she owed him £50 for drugs she never paid him for a while ago, as well as an extra £20 in interest.
Cassie promised to pay him by the end of the day and hisses at him to go. Recognising Dean from her own druggie days, Abi wondered what was exactly going on. Cassie was quick to claim it was no one important but when she later refused to go for lunch, making out she was waiting for a customer, a suspicious Abi nipped back to find the new employee helping herself to the petty cash.

As Tyrone and his grandmother Evelyn appeared, Cassie begged Abi not to say anything. Abi warned Cassie that she would tell her son Tyrone everything if she ever did anything wrong again.
Abi then decided to then take matters into her own hands and teamed up with Cassie by summoning Dean to the ginnel. Once there, she threatened Dean and ordered him to forget about Cassie's £70 debt or she would report him to the police for a number of crimes he had previously told her about.
Dean was left furious but the threat seemed to work as he agreed to drop it and he left the two women in the ginnel.
