Leanne later decided to stand by Nick through his mood swings following his brain damage but Nick ended things in 2014.
They've since reunited, split and reunited again but in recent scenes, despite him picking out an engagement ring to pop the question to Leanne once more, Nick changed his mind when his partner kept details about her son Simon's car crash with his son Sam in the car.
