In a video shared on Tik Tok, Her Majesty was seen holding on to a rail without the need of any aides as she made her way onto the platform and even managed a cheery wave to the camera ahead before she was lead into a car. The Queen’s son Prince Edward, 58, and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex, 57, were also seen in the clip following the monarch out of the train and into another vehicle as they made their way to the first events.
Ahead of her arrival in Scotland, Her Majesty was filmed by cricketer Chris Dixon, 24, boarding the train at Windsor and Eton Riverside Station without the help of aides once again. The Queen was seen in the clip walking without using her trusty stick as she capably stepped up onto the train and headed inside.
“I saw the Royal Train and lots of police vans and a sniffer dog.Three cars came round to private gates at the side of the station,” Mr Dixon told The Sun. “She was helped out of one and then easily made her way over a step.
"I was surprised at just how fast she was. It was a lovely opportunity to see her and see her so well.” The monarch’s arrival in Scotland makes her first public appearance since attending the Platinum Jubilee celebrations at the beginning of this month.
