Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle arrived Friday in the Netherlands for the Invictus Games, marking the couple's first public appearance in Europe since formally giving up their royal roles. The pair were all smiles as they greeted competitors at the Invictus Games. Harry is a founder and patron of the international sports competition.  The event came a day after the couple visited Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle on their first joint visit to the U.K.

Their appearance at the memorial service for their great-grandfather Prince Philip was a surprise but, despite their young age, Prince George and Princess Charlotte behaved perfectly.The elder Cambridge children, who are currently on Easter holidays from Thomas’s school in London's Battersea, were immaculately turned out for the moving service at Westminster Abbey. George, eight, wore a suit while his six-year-old sister looked smart in a navy coat and tights.They arrived at the service alongside their parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, with George holding 39 year old William’s hand and Charlotte doing the same with her 40 year old mother.The family were met by the Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle, Dean of Westminster, who was conducting the service.

After his funeral was restricted by Covid-19 laws in place last year – which left Her Majesty, 95, sat alone – those who were unable to attend have come together to pay their respects. The day marked the first public outing by Prince Andrew since he settled out of court with Virginia Giuffre, after being accused of sexual assault – which he has denied.
