Kate, who has been Patron of the organisation since 2018, has previously made a number of public and private visits to meet staff members and their young patients and has praised the important work they do.

The new facility at Evelina London will transform care for children and young people who need surgery by providing everything they need in one place and ensuring a family-focused experience is at the heart of what they do.
The unit will enable the organisation to treat up to an additional 2,300 children a year as it has two brand new operating theatres.
