Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly too preoccupied to address the ongoing issues with Prince Harry, according to a royal expert. The Prince and Princess of Wales lack the "will or the strength" to tackle what's been dubbed 'the Prince Harry problem', as the Duke of Sussex makes his anticipated return to the UK.
Former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond has suggested that the tables have turned following the Princess of Wales' cancer diagnosis. In light of such serious health concerns, Harry's past complaints that led to a family rift now seem "utterly trivial".
With their current challenges, it's unlikely that William and Kate will seek out any clash with Harry.
Meanwhile, Harry's bond with his father, King Charles, seems beyond repair as he chooses not to see his father during his short trip to the UK. The Duke of Sussex arrived for an Invictus Games event on Tuesday, leaving Meghan and their children in the US.
Prince Harry touched down on May 7, amid much speculation about whether he'd catch up with King Charles. But any buzz about a father-son catch-up was promptly put to bed, reports the Mirror.
The Duke's spokesperson made it clear that due to the King's packed agenda, a meeting was off the cards, stating: "It unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty's full programme. The Duke of course is understanding of his father's diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon."
The visit marks Harry's first return since the news broke of his sister-in-law's cancer treatment following her surgery in January. Despite the hope for family healing, Jennie shared with OK! magazine a bleak outlook on Harry's relationship with William, saying: "As regards William, that does appear
