A royal expert appearing on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday, 7 February, claimed the reason for the short meeting is that the King is 'tired' amid treatment for his unspecified cancer, which was announced on Monday. The 39 year old Duke of Sussex is said to have been personally informed of King Charles' diagnosis by the King himself, and thus made the decision to fly to London immediately.

Prince Harry and King Charles' short meeting was discussed on Wednesday's Good Morning Britain, with Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley speaking to two Royal experts. One of the royal experts on the show argued that it had previously been revealed that the King had started treatment on Monday and that he was 'tired'.
