Police uncovered a huge drugs haul inside a 'business property' in Trafford after being called to row over parking.
Officers were called to the 'disturbance' at the premises on Talbot Road in Stretford at around 1.45pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday). Police said two people were 'in a dispute over a parking space which led to the suspect becoming aggressive and confrontational'.
When officers arrived on the scene, they noticed a strong smell of cannabis from the suspect. A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified, section 39 assault and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

Officers then searched the business property and uncovered a huge haul of class A and class B drugs - believed to be worth around £50,000 in street value. Police around found £7,000 in cash.
A 49-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and money laundering. Both remain in custody to be quizzed by detectives.
Inspector Justin Woodward from GMP’s Trafford district said: "This is a really significant find for us and it comes off the back of some fantastic proactive police work, our officers trusted their instincts and have subsequently taken a large amount of drugs and cash off the streets.
"The supply of drugs and drug dealing is obviously a concern for those who live in the Trafford area and we are working hard to eradicate this problem. Anyone who is involved in this type of crime, we will catch up with you and you will be brought to justice."
