Officers are urging a man captured on CCTV to come forward and give 'important information' over a burglary. Greater Manchester Police is investigating a burglary at the Fresco’s takeaway on Railway Road, in Leigh.
A till and its contents were stolen in the raid, which took place in the early hours of July 28. In an appeal on social media this morning (September 4), GMP has released a CCTV image of a key witness.
Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact police. Officers have also appealed directly to the man, urging him to talk to police before they track him down.

A spokesperson for GMP Leigh, Atherton and Hindley wrote on Facebook: "At about 3.20am on July 28 there was a burglary at Fresco’s takeaway on Railway Road, Leigh. The till and contents were stolen.
"Officers would like to speak to this man as he holds important information about the incident. He is believed to live in the local area.
"Any information about the identity of this man then please contact GMP via the 101 number, quoting crime number: CRI/06LL/0023582/23. If you are this man then come and speak to us before we come and speak to you."
