Phillip Schofield has broken his cover following the This Morning scandal to join his old pal and co-star Vanessa Feltz for a catch-up dinner. The former host stepped down from his position on the daytime TV show alongside his ex-best friend and co-host Holly Willoughby earlier this year. Soon afterwards, the presenter admitted to having an "unwise but not illegal" relationship with a much younger colleague. After some considerable time away from the spotlight for Phillip, he and Vanessa, who are both 61, were spotted laughing and smiling as they emerged from a restaurant in West London called Little Bird on Monday night (August 7).
At one stage, the pair looked deep in conversation as they chatted about everything they've missed out on in each other's lives. While in another glimpse, the TV stars looked jovial as they hugged and grinned after a successful meet-up, going on to say their goodbyes. Phillip opted to wear a plain white shirt for the outing, and teamed it with casual trousers and a navy blue jacket.
The star's silver hair was styled in his usual parting, as he looked the same as he always has. Vanessa chose an off-the-shoulder floaty pink dress for her dinner reservation, adding a light sweep of makeup and a shoulder bag. The TV presenter and celebrity news reporter showed off her ever-platinum blonde locks with a wavy shoulder style.
While the pair were mostly seeming to enjoy a light and breezy conversation, things also appeared to turn serious during the goodbyes. Phillip could be seen reaching up with his hand in a gesture that seemed to show him wiping away Vanessa's tears as she got emotional after their hug. Vanessa has always been fiercely loyal to both Holly and Phil, ever since the scandal kicked off
