Loch Lomond amid reports of 'concern for a person' in the water. Police, fire service and the Loch Lomond Rescue Boat raced to the shoreline at Balloch Country Park in West Dunbartonshire on Friday.

Perth Prison will likely remain in lockdown until next week as COVID-19 cases continue to rise.
Perth and Kinross died from COVID-19 last week, according to official statistics. Data from the National Records of Scotland shows the deaths occurred between July 12 and 19.It is the highest weekly total since the week beginning February 22.Perth and Kinross has now recorded multiple COVID deaths in four of the last five weeks after cases rose dramatically in the region.
