The creator of “Law & Order” and Wolf Entertainment have partnered with Alfred Street Industries on both “Homicide: New York” and “Homicide: Los Angeles.” Both shows will consist of five episodes each, with each episode documenting a different murder case in each city.

Prime Video has handed a series order to Benito Skinner’s Overcompensating. With Thewlis as Sherlock Holmes, the series puts the detective out of his comfort zone, mysteriously unable to investigate a sinister case without risking the lives of his closest friends. He then meets Amelia (Blu Hunt), an American who, after her mother’s mysterious murder, learns that Sherlock may be her missing father.
