One of only three paramedics to enter the blast zone following the Manchester Arena attack has detailed the horror she encountered that night.
Advanced paramedic Lea Vaughan said she struggled to identify wounds in the darkness and smoke as she triaged and treated patients who survived the blast.
"I had never come across a scene like that in my career," said Ms Vaughan, who described how she had to concentrate on the living.
Ms Vaughan joined North West Ambulance Service in 2009 and was promoted
