It's a celebration of firsts this weekend, as Noel Gallagher is set to hit a new milestone in his career.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will embark on their biggest ever UK outdoor headline gig on Saturday (August 26). It will take place at Wythenshawe Park - and also marks the first ever gig held at the historic location.
Thousands of fans will descend on the venue to see the former Oasis icon perform his best hits. Noel will be supported by some special guests, including Picture Parlour, Billy Nomates, Future Islands and Primal Scream.

Gates will open at 2pm, while the first support act begins just before 3pm. However timings are subject to change, so it's worth getting into the gig as soon as you can to ensure you don't miss any of the acts.
After a bit of a turbulent summer, Mancunians will be hoping for a bit of sunshine this bank holiday weekend. Unfortunately, that won't be the case. Waterproofs shouldn't be forgotten by anyone heading to Wythenshawe Park this weekend - they'll be much needed.
According to the Met Office forecast, Saturday morning looks set to be a washout, with heavy rain first thing. This will turn lighter, clearing up as gates open for 2pm.
But don't let the respite fool you - the rain is set to return from 5pm, with more light showers predicted to last until around 7pm. With a bit of luck, that will be the last of the wet stuff for the day.

A bit of sunshine will appear once the rain clears up. It's forecast to remain dry when Noel makes his appearance at 9.15pm - and for the remainder of the night.
