Southport Air Show is back this weekend, and spectators are in for some impressive aerobatic displays.
Leading the show on Saturday will be the iconic Red Arrows.
Spectators will be able to watch the show from the prom, pier or beach and it promises to be a fun day out for all the family. As well as the aerial action, there will be lots to see and do on the ground too with plenty of activities to keep kids entertained.

There will be a military village over the weekend where members of the armed forces will be on hand to answer any questions, while a replica Spitfire will be on display. On the beach will be a range of attractions, including mini tanks, bungee trampolines and bumper cars.

Southport Airshow takes place on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10 and will take place at Southport Beach. The postcode for the air show is PR8 1RY.
Tickets are priced from £10 for anyone over 16. Those under 16 years old can get into the air show for free. Group rates are also available.
Tickets can be bought online here and also be bought on the day.
The Southport Air Show opens at 10am and closes at 5pm each day.
