Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has urged Marcus Rashford to prioritise developing a relationship with Rasmus Hojlund in a bid to rekindle last season's form.
Rashford has kicked off the campaign in underwhelming form. After playing the first two games as a No.9, he has been in his more natural left-wing role recently but has been equally ineffective and was brought off with United 1-0 down against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Having been the main source of goals last season - his total of 30 was more than double anyone else - the forward's poor form has drawn plenty of attention. But Saha has stressed the importance of forging a relationship with summer signing Hojlund as both look to improve in front of goal.

“Every player isn’t guaranteed their place. It doesn’t matter about what happened last season, what your potential is or what your status is, you need to work hard week in, week out," Saha told Betfred. "Marcus knows this better than anybody and he needs to come to a point where he’s a leader without the armband.
“At this moment, he’s displaying poor decision making and an example of this is that he’s dribbling at times when he should be looking to make a pass instead. He needs confidence and the same can be said for many of the players at the club currently because many of them going forward aren’t making the right decisions in the final third.
