Netflix’s Sarandos Says Film Strategy Will Not Change With Exit of Scott Stuber

Leah Remini has recently been in the news after being compared to one of the world’s most famous pop stars, Beyoncé. Mattel Films, ShadowMachine, Jennifer Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions and Anthony Ramos are teaming up to develop an animated, feature-length film based on Bob the Builder, the long-running and beloved animated children’s series.

Fresh from the awards circuit, where she picked up an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe, Ayo Edebiri is set to host Saturday Night Live for the first time.

And just like that, Netflix is close to tying up another major content licensing deal.

Stuber has secured financing for this new endeavor, which will focus on making TV shows and movies, according to Bloomberg, which first reported the news of Stuber’s departure.
