Netflix drops trailer for new K-drama ‘Dare To Love Me’, starring Kim Myung-soo

EXCLUSIVE: Focus Features has acquired U.S. rights and select international territories on upcoming thriller Last Breath, starring Woody Harrelson, Finn Cole and Simu Liu. Focus will distribute the Alex Parkinson-directed title in the U.S. with Universal Pictures International handling select territories including France, Scandinavia, Australia and New Zealand, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea and Vietnam. 

ITV2's Love Island is reportedly set for a major shake-up on its launch night, with the new series just weeks away.The popular dating show is due to return soon, and it's rumoured that there will be some big changes on the first night. The show, which sees singletons enter the iconic villa in search of love, will be back on our screens on Wednesday 5 June and Maya Jama is set to return as host, giving fans their much-needed Love Island fix. But it appears that ITV bosses are reportedly planning to take the launch up a notch as the show will celebrate its eleventh summer season when it returns to the Spanish island of Mallorca.

Bleecker Street and ShivHans Pictures will co-release Love Me, a cosmic romance starring Kristen Stewart (Love Lies Bleeding) and Steven Yeun (Minari) that world premiered at Sundance at top of year, where it was awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize. Written and directed by Sam & Andy Zuchero, in their feature debut, the film is slated for a nationwide theatrical release in early 2025.

It has been more than 20 years since Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie‘s The Simple Life premiered. The reality series followed the wealthy socialites as they struggled to do manual, low-paying jobs such as cleaning rooms, farm work, serving meals in fast-food restaurants, and working as camp counselors.

It’s odd to see Netflix start marketing a TV series months in advance. Most of the time, you just get a trailer several weeks before the series debuts.

Alex Ritman Ed Harris — recently seen starring alongside Kristen Stewart in “Love Lies Bleeding” — is getting back behind the camera to direct his own adaptation of Kim Zupan’s acclaimed novel “The Ploughmen.” Owen Teague, currently playing the lead in “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,” Nick Nolte and Bill Murray have come on board to star in the neo-noir crime thriller, which will go into production in Montana this Fall. Amy Madigan and Lily Harris are also set for the film. “The Ploughmen” will mark Harris’ third feature as director after his Western “Appaloosa” and multi-Oscar nominated “Pollock.” Described being in the vein of “Hell or High Water” and “Wind River,” the film is set in the wilderness of Montana, where a strange friendship develops between a haunted young deputy sheriff and a notorious old murderer.

Directed by Kim Soo-jin, the film centers around a woman with a hearing aid haunted by inexplicable sounds linked to her sister’s disappearance in her own apartment and attracting a malevolent presence.
