Get ready for the return of Chicken Run!
Over 20 years after the first movie hit theaters in 2000, Netflix has debuted the first teaser trailer for the new stop-motion animated film Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget.
Miranda Richardson is reprising her voice role of Mrs Tweedy, alongside her fellow OG co-stars Jane Horrocks (Babs), Lynn Ferguson (Mac) and Imelda Staunton (Bunty).

Here’s a synopsis for the upcoming sequel: “Having pulled off a death-defying escape from Tweedy’s farm, Ginger has finally found her dream – a peaceful island sanctuary for the whole flock, far from the dangers of the human world. When she and Rocky hatch a little girl called Molly, Ginger’s happy ending seems complete. But back on the mainland the whole of chicken-kind faces a new and terrible threat. For Ginger and her team, even if it means putting their own hard-won freedom at risk – this time, they’re breaking in!”
The new movie also stars Thandiwe Newton as Ginger, Zachary Levi as Rocky, Bella Ramsey as Molly, David Bradley as Fowler, Romesh Ranganathan as Nick, Daniel Mays as Fetcher, Josie Sedgwick-Davies as Frizzle, Peter Serafinowicz as Reginald Smith, and Nick Mohammed as Dr. Fry.

Netflix has released a new trailer for reality series Squid Game: The Challenge – check it out above.Based on Hwang Dong-hyuk’s Korean survival drama, the reality show sees 456 contestants from around the world compete in various challenges inspired by the series for a $4.56million cash prize.A synopsis reads: “As they compete through a series of games inspired by the original show – plus surprising new additions – their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them.”As shown in the trailer, the show’s anmatronic doll returns for Red Light, Green Light, while the elevated glass bridge and honeycomb games from the series are also represented.It also shows some of the dynamics between contestants, as one remarks: “You can’t trust anybody in here.”The 10-episode season debuts on November 22, with new episodes premiering weekly through to December 6. The series is produced by Studio Lambert and The Garden.The streaming service announced a second season of Squid Game was in development in June last year.

It is now time for the next game.” So begins the new trailer for Squid Game: The Challenge, dropped today by Netflix ahead of the reality series’ November 22 premiere. It’s an extended look at the competition series inspired by the hit Korean dystopian drama series, with some of the contestants showing surprise when they are “fake shot”, “Oh s**t” says one of the contestants when she takes an air bullet to the chest. Halsey will take on the role of Sally in a stage adaptation of The Nightmare Before Christmas later this month, it has been reported.Per a report from Variety, Halsey has supposedly signed on to take on the role of Sally for the upcoming live production of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas to celebrate its 30th anniversary.The three-night concert event will be held at the Hollywood Bowl from between October 27 and October 29.According to Variety, Halsey will be singing the role of Sally on the first two nights of the engagement, before the movie’s original voice actor, Catherine O’Hara takes over the role on the third. It is currently unclear if Halsey will also be voicing Sally for the entirety of the performances, or if they will only provide the character’s singing voice.Other cast members include Danny Elfman – who was the original 1993 film’s songwriter – who will be reprising the principal role of Jack Skellington, Fred Armisen as Lock and Ken Page as Oogie Boogie.Halsey most recently hinted at their fifth album in a cryptic post on social media in September.
