Nearly 200 individuals linked to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell are set to be released to the public by a New York judge. The names, which are expected to be released in the coming days, will confirm the identities of individuals who had previously been known as John or Jane Doe.
The deadline for objections to the unsealing of the names passed at Midnight on Monday, and it's thought only a handful of names have been removed.
Prince Andrew is expected to be named in the documents, as is former US President Bill Clinton, alongside a number of other high profile individuals. The Duke of York's connections to Epstein has been public knowledge for a number of years now, but the new documents could confirm just how close these links were.
The Prince was sued in the US last year by Virginia Giuffre, who claimed she was forced by Epstein to have sex with Andrew three times after being trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
She was just 17 at the time. Andrew has always denied these claims.
In early 2022, a "settlement in principle" was reached, with Andrew promising to make a significant donation to Ms Giuffre's charity, which supports victims' rights.
The settlement was not an admission of liability by Andrew. ABC News has identified "Doe 36" as Bill Clinton, who is believed to be mentioned in more than fifty of the redacted court filings.
Several of the documents relating to Clinton are thought to be in relation to Giuffre's lawyers attempts to subpoena the former president for a deposition testimony about his relationship with Epstein and Maxwell.
The documents are not expected to implicate Clinton in any illegal activity. Last year Epstein's scheduling diaries were leaked to the Wall Street Journal,
