Disgraced British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell claimed she “never introduced Prince Andrew to Jeffrey Epstein” in an interview under oath, court documents have revealed.
The third tranche of files connected with paedophile financier Epstein were published on Friday, including the video-taped interview with Maxwell in April 2016.
In the video-taped evidence, known in the US as a deposition, the socialite described Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre’s alleged meetings with the Duke of York as a “tissue of lies”.
Andrew stepped down from public life after the furore over his friendship with Epstein, and paid millions to settle a civil sexual assault case with Ms Giuffre, a woman he claimed never to have met.
He was cast out of the working monarchy and no longer uses his HRH style after Ms Giuffre, who was trafficked by Epstein, accused him of sexually assaulting her when she was 17.
The duke strenuously denies any wrongdoing.
A US judge ordered hundreds of documents to be unsealed as part of Ms Giuffre’s previously settled civil claim against Maxwell, which was filed in 2015.
In an exchange with Ms Giuffre’s lawyer Sigrid McCawley during her deposition, Maxwell was first asked: “Do you know Prince Andrew?”
“I do,” she replied.
Ms McCawley continued: “How long have you known him?”
Maxwell said: “A very long time.”

Sarah Ferguson's dreams of a gig on This Morning have been shattered after ITV bosses have decided she won't be given a full time presenting role, which is also a blow to Prince Andrew. The Duchess of York, lovingly called Fergie, won't be given a regular role on the show after her first go at being a presenter didn't end well. This has put a damper on her plans to help with money for Andrew's digs at Royal Lodge mansion, where they live together, as he reportedly needs £2million for urgent repairs.
Court papers have shown that Virginia Giuffre claimed Jeffrey Epstein paid her almost £12,000 to have sex with Prince Andrew.
Jeffrey Epstein document dump, and it seems as though there’s “not much” his brother, King Charles, can do about it.The royal family is now facing “unprecedented” pressure, according to a royal commentator, who says the monarch made a “mistake” by inviting the disgraced Duke of York to Sandringham for Christmas.“We’re only six days into it and the pressure on Prince Andrew and the royal family is now mounting to a level which is almost unprecedented,” royal expert and commentator Charles Rae told GB News.“We have a King who is now under great pressure to do something about Andrew. As the fallout from the unsealed list of names linked to the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein continues, King Charles is reportedly considering a strategic move to shield the Royal Family from further embarrassment. The Duke of York, Prince Andrew, finds himself among the 170 individuals named in the list, which was recently made public by a New York judge.
Whoopi Goldberg has denied “insane” rumours that she’s on Jeffrey Epstein’s list.Earlier this week, the names of dozens of high-profile figures with connections to the late sex offender were made public with the release of court documents. Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton were among the associates as well as Michael Jackson and Stephen Hawking.Numerous online trolls had claimed that Goldberg was on the list and she dispelled the rumours on Thursday’s (January 4) episode of The View, branding the accusations “insane”.“Apparently they said I was on an island, and I’m like, ‘I don’t go anywhere,'” Goldberg said.“So I’m just going to say — and there’s just been a lot of stuff recently, I don’t know what I’ve done to anybody — but apparently there are a lot of the sites and they’re satire sites and people don’t realise they can be harmful.”Goldberg went on to quash numerous other rumours about her that was circulating online. “I never got kicked out of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant.
Jeffrey Epstein document dump, according to a report. The disgraced Duke of York has resided at the royal residence, located on the grounds of Windsor Castle, since 2004 after signing a 75-year lease agreement the year prior. The Royal Lodge previously belonged to the Queen Mother until her death in 2002. Andrew currently shares the 31-room Royal Lodge mansion in Windsor with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. But sources told the Daily Mail that the latest developments in the Epstein document unsealing could indeed “crystalize” King Charles’s determination to solve the “Andrew problem.”“When it comes to any public role for his brother, there is no way back,” an insider told the outlet.“There has always been an agreement that Andrew would be permitted to attend private and family events, as is his right.”“But not public or official ones.
Is Prince Andrew going to face any real consequences for his alleged participation in Jeffrey Epstein‘s underage sex trafficking ring? Well, probably not legal consequences, as there has not been a new investigation launched, even with the new allegations from the document dump.
More Jeffrey Epstein documents, more accusations against former presidents…
It’s been reported that King Charles could be set to hand Prince Andrew a new role in the Royal Family to avoid “more embarrassment”.
Damn, right from the horse’s mouth.
There are not many new allegations in the Jeffrey Epstein document dump. But we did see something about Prince Andrew we don’t think we’ve seen reported before.
Of course Donald Trump‘s name comes up in the Jeffrey Epstein document dump! It would have been more surprising if he hadn’t. After all, they were good friends for many years, and even a few passing acquaintances get mentioned here and there. The question is, how is it mentioned??
