A mum who piled on the pounds after snacking on crisps and biscuits has revealed her secret to losing more than two stone.
Hayley Tipton was struggling with her confidence and self-esteem by the time she finally decided to join a weight loss group in February this year.
An unhealthy lifestyle meant the 48-year-old felt uncomfortable in her clothes and was unhappy with the way she looked.

But after joining Greater Manchester and Cheshire weight loss group Beeweighed, the mum-of-one went on to lose 2st 4lbs – going from a dress size 16 to a 12.
“My self-esteem and confidence was gone,” the mum, from Northwich in Cheshire, told the Manchester Evening News.
“My weight when I started Beeweighed was 13st 9lb so my BMI was too high. I was eating all the wrong things and not in moderation. I was snacking throughout the day on biscuits, crisps and chocolate.
“Also, my alcohol intake was creeping up even during the week and I wasn’t keeping active or doing any form of exercise.
“I joined Beeweighed in Northwich at the beginning of February with my sister. We were both unhappy with ourselves and we just needed guidance.”
Hayley chose to follow a calorie-controlled diet by using a calorie counting app. The mum says it’s evolved her relationship with food in a positive way.
She’s also introduced fitness into her lifestyle by walking and going to the gym. Thanks to her hard work, she now weighs 11st 4lbs.
“If it wasn’t for Beeweighed, I don’t think I would have achieved my weight loss,” she added. “The support is amazing and they are a lovely bunch of people. They are all going on their own journeys as well as supporting
