A mum has shared a nifty nappy changing hack and that has left other parents stunned.
Changing your little one can be a challenge, whether it's done while out and about or at home. One important piece of kit for making it easier is baby wipes, but not when you reach to pull out one only for several to come out.
That's what would happen to Lauran Martin before she discovered a "game-changing" hack back in 2019 while changing her son Noah's nappy. Lauren realised that she could ensure only one comes out each time after accidentally ripping the packet's inner plastic.
Since then, she has been using her baby wipes more efficiently and doesn't need to worry about wasting any while changing a wriggling Noah's nappy. She even took to social media to share the happy accident which has other parents' "minds blown", the Mirror reports.
Taking to Facebook group The Motherload, Lauren wrote at the time: "My son is 19 months and I'm ONLY just 'discovering' that if you fully rip open wipes they'll come out one by one and not a whole bunch that string out while I'm trying to change a dirty nappy and undo a wipe with my double chins. This may or may not be known and I'm a tit... but I felt I had to share."
The post had thousands of reactions and hundreds of comments at the time it was posted, with parents describing it as a "game-changer" and saying they had been left "mind-blown".
One mum said: "I have been a parent for over 20 years and I have never heard of this!! Mind blown!!" Another said: "OMG thank you for this! I'm often changing my son's bottom and holding his legs, fighting his escape, while having what seems like a ninja attack with the baby wipes as they come out in a long line of wipes! I'm flapping about like a nutter."
