A mum who was left with a nine-inch scar on her neck after she was slashed in a nightclub has told how "justice has been served" as her attacker was jailed. Jeanette Irvine, 51, feared she would never see her children again when violent thug Marie Huggan sliced her throat open with a bottle in an unprovoked attack at De Vito's in Arbroath in July 2022.

Jeanette added that the attack had an extreme affect on her mental health.

Jeanette said that she had never met Huggan before the night of her attack and still has no idea why she
