Major EastEnders character left fighting for their life after being run down by car in spoilers

Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) is left in critical condition after a car accident in EastEnders spoilers, can she be saved? In a special episode that takes place across five weeks, Whitney and Zack Hudson (James Farrar) go to visit Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) in Milton Keynes.
The pair are met with discontent from two local children, Britney (Lola Campbell) and Taylor. Whitney also tells Bianca about her pregnancy, but asks her to keep it secret from Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) who is struggling to conceive. A few weeks later, still in Milton Keynes, Whitney and Britney start to form a kinship and the youngster comes over for dinner at Bianca’s house.
Whitney begins to grow concerned for Britney when she discovers her rifling through bongs for food. When Whitney discovers Keeley Wainwright (Kirsty J Curtis) isn’t looking after her daughter, Britney - and that she hasn’t been enrolled in school for four years, Whitney intervenes. Later, Whitney attempts to come to Britney’s rescue when she has a showdown with Keeley.
Britney rushes off and steps out into the path of a speeding car before Whitney pushes her out of the way, getting hit in the process. At the hospital, Whitney begins to recover, and both she and Zack are relieved to hear their baby will be alright.
The pair arrive back at Bianca’s and learn that Keeley has been arrested for drug dealing, and Britney has gone missing. Against Bianca’s advice, Whitney heads out in search of Britney, but Zack calls to let her know he has found Britney.
Later, Zack and Whitney come to blows when she offers to look after Britney whilst the social worker sorts out official plans. When Whitney drops another bombshell Zack goes back to Walford alone. Later on, Lauren Branning
