A car was engulfed in a fireball in an Edinburgh park during Bonfire Night chaos after parts of the vehicle were seen "exploding" next to a busy main road.
Emergency services were out in full force to deal with several instances of people setting off fireworks around the city.
The blaze was spotted at Sighthill Park on Saturday evening, with one witness reporting parts exploding from the blaze as it burnt the grass below, reports Edinburgh Live.
Footage shows the car completely engulfed in flames and left on the grass next to a main road, as parts fly from the inferno and land on the turf.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said two appliances attended shortly before 10pm and extinguished the blaze before leaving, ensuring that the area was safe. They also said there were no reported injuries.
Elsewhere, groups of youths in the Niddrie area were seen aiming fireworks and projectiles at cars, people, and even an ambulance. Shocking footage shows dozens of people standing on a main road while fireworks are set off in the background.
Cars could be seen stopping to avoid the chaos as a huge bonfire was also lit in the middle of the road as balaclava-wearing bikers sped through the streets aiming fireworks at people and vehicles.
One ambulance was struck by a bottle containing a flammable substance but fortunately there were no reported injuries as a result.
Police Scotland have been approached for comment about the incidents.
