Metallica announce ‘Helping Hands’ benefit concert

Eurovision Song Contest, after it was confirmed that Liverpool had been chosen as the UK host city for the competition. On Friday’s The One Show, Graham Norton made the huge announcement, as the people of Liverpool celebrated and those in Glasgow commiserated over their loss.

Eurovision 2023 will take place in Liverpool, Graham Norton has announced. The 59 year old star, who does the BBC's commentary on the Song Contest, shared the news during Friday night's episode of The One Show and revealed that the event will take place on May 13 2023.

The tour will begin with a two-night stand at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum May 19-20 and end — perhaps not surprisingly — in San Francisco, at Oracle Park, where this offshoot of the Grateful Dead will call it a night after final gigs set to take place there July 14-15. Nineteen cities are on the agenda in all, with two-nighters set for Chicago, New York City, Saratoga Springs, NY, and George, Wa. in addition to San Francisco and L.A. Barring any added dates, Boulder is the one city due to get a three-night stand, scheduled for July 1-3. SF9 have announced stops in Seoul and North America for their upcoming ‘Live Fantasy #4 Delight’ tour, due to begin this November.South Korean music label FNC Entertainment made the announcement of SF9’s forthcoming tour earlier today (October 5) via social media, where it dropped a list of dates and locations. The ‘Live Fantasy #4 Delight’ tour will kick off with a three-night show in SF9’s home city of Seoul in November, before the group embark on a trek across the US with five shows scheduled in New York, Chicago, Dallas, Denver and Los Angeles across November and December.Venue and other specific show information have yet to be made publicly available by the organisers involved.

Melody’s Echo Chamber has reissued her self-titled debut for its 10th anniversary, as well as announcing details of a world tour for 2023.The reissue was simultaneously released today alongside ‘Unfold’– a compilation of seven rare and previously unreleased tracks. Amy Schneider and Genevieve Davis announced they secretly married earlier this year after Schneider made history becoming the second-most winning contestant on "Jeopardy!" The game show champion revealed the couple had an intimate ceremony at the clerk's office in Oakland, California, in May. NOFX have announced their new record ‘Double Album’, a follow-up to this February’s ‘Single Album’, to be released on December 2.Having announced earlier this month that they intend to break up in 2023, it is likely that the album will be the band’s final release.The announcement comes along with a new single titled ‘Darby Crashing Your Party’, an homage to the late Germs frontman Darby Crash.In a press release, NOFX frontman Fat Mike described the album as “maybe our funniest” release.“You have to laugh at everything because the world is just falling apart and you have to have a good attitude not to take things seriously,” he said.“So this is how I’ve always done it. I make people laugh every day.

The Weeknd has shared details of his rescheduled Los Angeles show and an extra date weeks on from having to cancel a show mid-way through due to vocal issues.The pop star, real name Abel Tesfaye, will now play LA’s SoFi Stadium on Saturday, November 26 and an extra date on Sunday, November 27 (head here for tickets). Either Liverpool or Glasgow is set to host the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine next year, it has been announced. Ukraine, who had this year's winning act Kalush Orchestra, have been left unable to host next year due to the country's ongoing war with Russia.
