The Met Office's latest weather radar map shows how cold it will be across the UK overnight for the rest of the week.
It comes after the weather agency issued an amber alert for snow and ice across UK following the coldest night of winter so far. The warning for snow was issued 3pm on Wednesday and 6pm on Thursday in north-west Scotland and the Northern Isles, meaning road delays are likely and some vehicles could be stranded.
Meanwhile, yellow weather warnings of snow and ice have been updated in parts of Scotland, northern England, Wales, and Northern Ireland on Wednesday.

Scotland, northern England, and parts of Wales are set to be hit by the coldest temperatures this week. On Wednesday evening, Kendal will be hit by temperatures of -6C.
Meanwhile, Newton and Aberystwyth in Wales will also be hit with -6C on Wednesday evening. In Scotland, Craig and Fort Williams will be hit by the coldest temperatures at -7C and -6C respectively.
By Thursday evening, temperatures will improve moderately for most areas in the UK, although many will still see temperatures of 0C or lower. The coldest areas by this point will include northern Scotland with temperatures of -4C expected. Parts of Wales will see -2C at the lowest, while northern England will also see -2C.
Down south, temperatures will range between 0C to -1C. On Friday night it will start to warm up with temperatures set to stay above freezing - with highs of 8C in north and south Wales.
