Meghan Markle appears to be the one to have made the first move in patching up her broken relationship with her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.
The Duchess of Sussex and the Princess of Wales have had a turbulent relationship in recent years after the former royal couple took aim at several members of the Royal Family in their bombshell Harry & Meghan Netflix docuseries.
This was then followed by further attacks in the duke's tell-all memoir Spare with rumours that Meghan is now gearing up to "set the record straight" about her own time in the Firm by following in her husband's footsteps and writing her own explosive autobiography.
According to reports, the duchess allegedly made Kate cry just four days before her wedding to Harry in 2018, the Mirror reports.
However, during the couple's infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, Meghan claimed it was actually the other way round and she confessed she had been left "hurt" by Kate's actions.
The duke explained the situation in Spare as he wrote that he had found his wife crying "on the floor" after an argument with Kate over bridesmaid dresses.
The Princess of Wales is said to have told Meghan that there was a "problem" with her daughter Princess Charlotte's dress and then said that all of the bridesmaid dresses would have to be "completely remade."
However, it seems Meghan is now willing to let go of their past feuds as there appears to have been some movement from the duchess behind the scenes following Kate's recent health scare.
A source told US Weekly: "Meghan has contacted Kate and Charles. So moves are being made to reconcile."
