Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be gearing up to launch a surprise initiative after a series of career blows, according to a royal expert.
The couple have stayed relatively under the radar in the last few months, following Harry's controversial memoir Spare and the recent axing of their Spotify deal, but that's all set to change. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex haven't announced any new projects yet, as their Netflix deal reportedly hangs in the balance, but an expert predicts a surprise soon.
Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, have reportedly been at a loss in recent weeks trying to figure out their next steps which saw the Duke turn to his brother, Prince William, for advice. While it isn't clear what their exact plans are, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said people should expect "something" from Harry and Meghan.
"It's unclear, at the moment, what the Sussexes plan to do," Fitzwilliams told The Express. "Don't forget they have always had the capacity to surprise. Well, having said that, it simply isn't clear. I'm surprised there hasn't been an initiative [so far]."
This comes after Meghan signed up to an exclusive Hollywood agency that boasts impressive A-List clients, but hasn't yet announced any new career moves. Richard believes that this is "likely to lead to something".
Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior working royals in 2020, and shortly signed a multi-million-pound deal with Spotify shortly after but didn't release any content for two more years. It was announced earlier this year that the Sussexes had parted ways with Spotify, and it's been reported their Netflix deal hangs in the balance.
