As Celebrity Masterchef's Melanie Blatt returns to TV to take part in the new series of Race Across The World with her mum, OK! Is taking a look at what she has been up to in her professional and family life. Melanie has had a jam-packed career so far, from singing in girl group All Saints, featuring on X Factor, wowing the judges on Celebrity MasterChef and now competing in the biggest and most ruthless journeys across 24 countries.Taking it back to the 90s, Melanie was one of the founding members of All Saints along with Nicole and Natalie Appleton and Shaznay Lewis.The girl group released their first single I Know Where It’s At in 1997 and shot to fame after they released Never Ever.

As Race Across The World returns to our screens this week, fans of the BBC show will no doubt be impressed to hear that the upcoming series has received a very special Celebrity revamp. Every one of this year’s competitors will be a household name from across music, drama and sport, with a number of famous faces including McFly’s Harry Judd, All Saint’s singer Melanie Platt and even Good Morning Britain’s weatherman Alex Beresford taking on the gruelling challenge from Wednesday, 20 September.

The new season of Celebrity Race Across The World will air on BBC One tonight after its initial launch was pushed back.

McFly fans are in for a treat this week, as one of the band’s stars, drummer Harry Judd returns to our TV screens in the BBC challenge series Celebrity Race Across the World.The 37 year old star, who will be joined by his mum Emma Judd, 63, for the trip, will be attempting to travel from Marrakech, Morocco, all the way to Tromsø, Norway in the hopes of beating their celebrity competitors and claiming the coveted win. With their journey taking them across 24 countries in total and covering more than 10,000km, there will be plenty of nail biting twists and turns for the duo as the series unfolds.
